Privacy
What we collect,
and why.
Sire & Dam is a website service run by RedCyfer, a small business in Jonesboro, Arkansas. We don’t sell your information or keep lists for anyone else. This page says exactly what happens to what you give us.
Visiting this site
Our web server keeps ordinary access logs: your IP address, the page you asked for, your browser and the time. We use them for traffic figures and to stop abuse.
The pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
Facebook and Instagram ads (Meta Pixel)
We run ads on Facebook and Instagram. To learn whether they work, every page on this site includes the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta which pages you viewed and which designs you looked at, using a cookie and your browser details. Meta may connect this to a Facebook or Instagram account under Meta’s privacy policy. We see only totals, never who you are.
You can turn this off: block third-party cookies in your browser, use an ad or tracker blocker, or change your Facebook ad preferences.
New-design emails
If you sign up for new-design emails, we keep your email address to send one note when a design is added, no more than weekly. Every email has a link to stop them.
Your account and payments
When you start a site at my.sireanddam.com we keep your email, your password (stored only as a one-way hash), your name if you give it, and what you tell us about your program. Payments go through Square. Your card number goes straight to Square; we only keep the last four digits and Square’s reference so we can show your plan and receipts. Square’s own privacy policy covers what it holds.
Your website
Everything you put on your website (animals, photos, pedigrees, pages) is yours. It is stored on our servers in Amazon Web Services in the United States, with nightly backups. Your site keeps simple visitor counts; it does not add advertising pixels unless you ask for one.
How long we keep it
We keep account and website data while you are a customer, and backups for a short time after. Access logs rotate on the server’s normal schedule. Email us and we will remove what you sent us or close your account and delete your site.
Children
This site and our service are meant for adults running a breeding program. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
